Nafisa Rahman is currently as a Lecturer in the School of Business & Economics at United International University (UIU). She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, and subsequently completed her MS in Data Science and Analytics from East West University (EWU), where she achieved academic distinction.

Before joining UIU, Nafisa gained professional experience in both the banking and FinTech industries. She began her professional career at bKash Limited in the Commercial Division, where she worked in the Consumer Strategy team, with a specialization in data analysis which helped the company in its pricing strategy. Later, she joined Eastern Bank PLC as a Management Trainee Officer (MTO) in its Future Leader program and progressed to the role of Associate Relationship Manager at its premier Gulshan Avenue Branch, focusing on client engagement and client portfolio management.

Alongside her industry exposure, Nafisa has also been actively involved in academic and analytical work, combining her expertise in finance with advanced knowledge of data science. Her research interests include Business Analytics, Financial Analytics, Customer Behavior, Data Visualization, and the applications of Data Science in banking and financial services.

At UIU, she is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry insights, with a commitment to fostering analytical and critical thinking among her students.
