Muhammad Shahidul Islam is an experienced academic and consultant with over four decades of teaching and curriculum development in Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems. He recently served at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, where he contributed to AACSB, NCAAA, and ACCA accreditation activities and received multiple Excellence Awards in Teaching and Advising.

Mr. Islam holds graduate degrees from Boston University, Harvard University, and the University of Dhaka. His career includes faculty and leadership roles at institutions such as KFUPM, Wentworth Institute of Technology (Boston), and the University of Dhaka.

His professional involvement spans consulting for ERP implementations, industry collaborations, and supervision of student internships with leading global organizations. At UIU, Mr. Islam aims to share his international academic experience and help students integrate professional competence with ethical and innovative thinking in business and management.
